BBQ Rub Recipe

This is my modified version of the BRITU (Best Ribs In The Universe) BBQ rub:

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Non-Iodized Table Salt
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar (Dried out lightly by exposing on cookie sheet room temp. several hours, or slightly warmed
  • 5 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Cumin
  • 4 Teaspoons MSG (Accent) NO WAY
  • 2 Teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 Teaspoons Chipotle Powder
  • 4 Teaspoons Black Peppercorns
  • 4 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 4 Teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Meat Tenderizer (VERY optional)
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 Teaspoons Ground Coffee
Place all ingredients in Magic Bullet (or blender), and blend until ground into a fine powder
